When To Have Rhinoplasty?

Before Rhinoplasty

Like all plastic surgeries, there are a few guidelines that should be followed by patients to ensure the best results after the operation. Here are some guidelines to consider:

Any drug consumed should be informed to doctors.
Any chronic disease must be informed to the doctors.
If the patient smokes or drinks alcohol should be stopped before 2 weeks of the operation.
6-7 hours before the operation avoid eating or drinking
Any allergies due to medical products must be known.
Stop using aspirin, painkillers, herbal supplements, vitamins, for 2 weeks before the operation.

During Rhinoplasty Producer

The procedure differs depending on the type of operation.

After Rhinoplasty

Several important activations should be followed after the operation to ensure the best results. And by following the doctor's guidelines, you will notice a quick recovery after the operation. Here are the essential guidelines to know:

You will be given a nasal splint, which you must wear within the time frame indicated by the doctors.
Avoid blowing your nose or wiping your nose.
Take a shower method specified by doctors.
Avoid extreme laughter, smiles or extreme facial expressions and barely sneezing.
In the first few days, keep your head above your chest.
You should take medicines prescribed by doctors at regular and specified times.
Intense sports activities should be avoided during the first month of the operation.
Smoking and alcohol should be avoided.
Be sure to wear a cloth that will not come into contact with the operation area.
Gently brush your teeth.
Avoid wearing glasses for the first 3 weeks after the operation.

Note: There will be feelings of swelling and tangling after the operation. This is a normal result and you will be given painkillers and they will go away for the first few days after the operation.
